Cyber Security Symposium

  • A base is a component of nucleic acids. There are four different bases: adenine, guanine (purines), cytosine and thymine or uracil (pyrimidines). In RNA, thymine is replaced by uracil.
  • Computer tomography (CT) is a imaging technique to display the structures within the body. Therefore, radiograms are taken from different directions and are analysed by a computer to get a three-dimensional image.
  • Polyehylene (abbrevation: PE) is the polymer of ethylene. It belongs to the thermoplastic synthetics.
  • Good Manufacturing Practise.

After a dramatic increase in cyber-attacks on IT systems in the pharmaceutical industry, the focus of attackers has now shifted to IT supported and automated production systems (industrial control systems). Hacker attacks, cybercrime and the manipulation of data and systems can cause considerable damage during production and may even compromise GMP compliance.

To find out which areas within your company are most vulnerable and how your business can become more resilient to that kind of manipulation, the M+W Group in Basel invites you to the
