10 start-ups and small companies active in the fields of medicine and medical technology will receive the opportunity to present their business ideas at the „MedTech Start-up Pitch Day“ on 16th May 2018. The audience covers a broad spectrum of the medical technology industry and statutory health insurancy representatives as well as investors and other sector stakeholders to which the presenters can establish valuable contacts.
The „MedTech Radar Start-up Pitch Day“ on 16th May 2018 in Cologne is jointly organized by the statutory health insurance Barmer, the German Medical Technology Association (BVMed), the venture capital investors High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Earlybird Venture Capital and NRW.Bank as well as the medical technology magazine “medtech zwo” from publishing house BIOCOM AG.
Specifically, the initiative addresses start-ups or smaller companies looking to change the healthcare industry and improve patient care with an innovative business idea. The focus is on the areas of digital health services, rehabilitation, patient care or big data with medical technologies.
Who is eligible to participate?
Company founders or teams from Germany who want to establish a healthcare start-up as well as already incorporated young medical technology companies with a location in Germany.
