Informative best practices from science and industry, panel discussions, inspiring workshops and networking promise new information and contacts.

This event focuses on the surgical care and medical technologies of the future through artificial intelligence (AI), which will be of high importance during surgery as well as pre- and post-operatively.

Join this event and get insights into current trends, technologies and research in this field from Baden-Württemberg, Ontario, Québec, and Leeds.

Learn how AI can support the pre-operative process through its benefits, such as changes to the surgery schedule, reducing overtime and improving surgery room utilization.

Find out where robotic assistants have already entered operating rooms during surgery. AI-based systems can, for example, support the precise positioning of instruments and implants during an operation or help the surgeon to recognize relevant anatomical structures. Various technologies such as robotics, imaging or augmented reality are used for this.

All regions, Baden-Württemberg, Ontario, Québec and Leeds offer an excellent environment for the health sciences with universities, university hospitals, high-ranking research institutions and a high density of small and large companies as well as start-ups at the interface between AI and the health industry and medical technology.

The event offers networking opportunities for representatives of research and development, entrepreneurs and applied research as well as students. The event is designed to encourage new contacts and business relationships as well as to initiate collaborations or joint developments.
