Prime Vector Technologies GmbH announces a license agreement with Boehringer Ingelheim to advance next generation cancer vaccine therapies
Prime Vector Technologies GmbH (PVT), a clinical-stage biotechnology company focusing on the development of viral vector-based vaccines, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Boehringer Ingelheim for the assignment of certain patents and the exclusive licensing of its Orf virus (ORFV) platform for the development of next-generation cancer vaccines. PVT’s ORFV platform is designed as a versatile viral vector platform for potential application in the preventive and therapeutic vaccine areas.
Under the terms of the agreement, PVT is eligible to receive an upfront payment, development, regulatoryand commercial milestone payments, as well as royalties on future product sales.

Boehringer Ingelheim intends to evaluate the platform both as a standalone cancer vaccine approach and incombination with assets across its oncology pipeline.
The agreement supports PVT´s strategy of advancing the ORFV platform through partnerships that can fullyexplore its scientific and therapeutic potential for oncology applications that require payload flexibility,scalable design, and the ability to support broad patient applicability through off-the-shelf developmentapproaches. Beyond this oncology partnership, PVT continues to pursue the broader potential of the ORFVplatform in infectious diseases and other vaccine applications.
