Endosmart® is a Start-Up company out of the Research Centre Karlsruhe (Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe), founded in january 2002. The company focuses on the developement of innovative instruments made from superelastic materials for use in minimale invasive surgery and other medical applications. Extensive experience with smart materials such as NiTinol, enables Endosmart to create instruments of increased functionality and high performance.
