Reaching the unreachable: new approaches to challenging drug targets

Modern medicines act with remarkable precision. Antibodies, for example, recognise their molecular targets much like a key fits into its corresponding lock. The start-up Panosome aims to eliminate these blind spots with a novel immunotherapy platform that harnesses sophisticated masters of immune evasion: trypanosomes.
