BIOPRO vergibt als Veranstaltungspartner fünf Pitching-Plätze an frühe akademische Gründungsvorhaben aus Baden-Württemberg (noch nicht gegründet bis frühes Start-up).
Allgemeine Informationen zum Ablauf:
Forschende aus Baden-Württemberg können sich über BIOPRO für einen Pitch in der Baden-Württemberg Campaign for Academic Discovery in Health (BWCAD)-Session für frühe Projekte bewerben. Die Teilnehmendenzahl ist begrenzt; die Auswahl obliegt der BIOPRO. Die Teilnahme für die ausgewählten Forscherinnen und Forscher ist kostenfrei.

We bring together life science investors, startups from across Europe, and innovators from the Greater Heidelberg Region’s thriving ecosystem. Expect sharp, focused pitches and plenty of room for real conversations—energized by great coffee and our artisan barista’s finest creations.
Application for Life Science Startups
We’d love to see your life science startup on stage at the Life Science Investors’ Day in Heidelberg!
Pitching is invite-only and starts with a simple application process. Selected startups will participate in an online test pitch before the event. Please note, all pitches are held live on stage in Heidelberg—there’s no option for remote pitching.
Application and participation (for selected startups) is completely free.

- Jury Review & Evaluation: July 2026
- Final Team Selection: July 31, 2026
- Pitch Training for Selected Teams: August 2026
- Pitch Live at the Event: September 24, 2026
